WE ARE HIRING | GENERAL MANAGER – EAST ZONE

Location: East India

Function: Sales & Business Development

Industry: Apparel | Rainwear | Winterwear | Outerwear

CTC: Up to ₹40–45 LPA

Reporting To: Business Head / Director

We are looking for an experienced General Manager – East Zone to drive business growth, market expansion, channel development, and overall sales performance across the Eastern region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the East Zone sales strategy for Rainwear & Winterwear categories.

• Drive business across West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Assam & other Eastern markets .

• Manage and expand distributor, dealer, MBO, retail and institutional networks.

• Own revenue, sales targets, profitability, collections and channel productivity.

• Lead and mentor the regional sales team and field force.

• Identify new markets and appoint strategic channel partners.

• Develop seasonal sales plans aligned with monsoon and winter demand cycles.

• Track competition, pricing, schemes, product trends and market intelligence.

• Ensure effective primary & secondary sales, stock rotation and distributor productivity.

• Work closely with Product, Marketing, Supply Chain and Production teams.

• Conduct regular market visits and drive territory-wise growth plans.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate / MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.

• 15+ years of experience in Sales & Business Development.

• Strong experience in East India markets with an established distributor/dealer/retail network.

• Candidates from Rainwear, Winterwear, Outdoor Apparel, Jackets, Outerwear or Seasonal Wear will be preferred.

• Proven experience managing large sales teams and zonal/regional businesses.

• Strong understanding of General Trade, MBO, Distributor & Retail channels .

• Excellent commercial acumen with knowledge of margins, schemes, collections and profitability.

• Willingness to travel extensively across the East Zone.
