To be considered, we require:

• High school diploma or equivalency required; graduation from a medical assistant program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) is preferred.

• Current certification as a certified medical assistant (CMA), clinical certified medical assistant (CCMA) or registered medical assistant (RMA).

• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross or Military Training Network.

• Minimum of one year of work experience in a clinical setting (cardiovascular or family medicine preferred); Nebraska Medication Aide registry listing is often preferred or required depending on the site.
