Controller (Memphis)

Company Description Signet, Inc. is a Memphis, TN-based outsource provider specializing in branded merchandise, apparel, and related services that support revenue growth, culture building, and cost savings for clients. Role Description The Controller is a full-time, on-site role based at Signet, Inc. in Memphis, TN. This position oversees the company’s financial operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, payroll coordination, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. The Controller will prepare and analyze financial statements, monitor cash flow, manage budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. Qualifications Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting, including experience with general ledger management, budgeting, and forecasting. Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as advanced skills in spreadsheets and financial analysis tools. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain internal controls, oversee audits, and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. Experience leading or supervising accounting teams, with skills in delegation, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field Prior experience as a Controller or in a senior accounting role, ideally within distribution, merchandising, promotional products, or related industries.
