Mayaavi Epicverse is a game studio dedicated to creating story-driven games inspired by Vedic history and Indian mythology. We blend cultural heritage with modern game design to deliver immersive, authentic, and emotionally engaging experiences.

 About the Role

We’re building a cosy, character-driven mobile game centred around warmth, charm, and emotional connection. The experience features a loveable mythological child character, designed for short, daily play sessions.

We are looking for a talented VFX Artist to create real-time visual effects for our Unity mobile game. This is a contract engagement with a defined scope, a clear brief, and milestone-based payments.

️ What You’ll Do

• Design and deliver real-time particle and shader effects using Unity Particle System and/or VFX Graph
• Create character interaction, emotional reaction, and reward effects
• Design ambient and environmental effects suited to the game’s visual tone
• Build UI and screen transition effects
• Optimise all effects for mobile performance

What We’re Looking For 

• Strong Unity VFX portfolio — character-driven, children’s, or simulation games preferred
• Proficiency in Unity Particle System; VFX Graph experience is a plus
• Shader Graph skills for glow, dissolve, rimlight, and distortion effects
• Sensitivity to Indian classical visual aesthetics — jewel tones, soft gold, divine warmth
• Mobile optimisation experience — you know how to make effects feel lush without killing frame rate
• Clean, professional handoff: named assets, documented parameters, on schedule

How We Work

You will receive a full asset brief, reference audio mood board, and delivery spec sheet upfront. Milestones are paid progressively. All delivered IP becomes property of Mayaavi Epicverse upon final payment.
