Work Shift: 1st Shift (9/80A) - 7:30 am-4:00 or 5:00 pm

Our client is a large Aerospace Industry Manufacturer.

Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support equipment and facility operations within an aerospace manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for hands-on troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of manufacturing machinery and related systems, with a strong emphasis on mechanical and pneumatic equipment. The successful candidate will be comfortable interpreting technical drawings and schematics , using hand and power tools , and working safely around specialized industrial systems. This role is best suited for an experienced technician who can work independently while maintaining strong safety and quality standards.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and pneumatic equipment to identify the source of operational problems.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and plant equipment.
• Inspect equipment periodically to identify conditions that could result in failures or production interruptions.
• Repair , adjust, replace and restore mechanical components and equipment as required.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during maintenance and repair activities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, layouts, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Diagnose equipment problems using technical documentation, specifications and physical inspection.
• Support maintenance activities involving multiple trades, including mechanical, electrical and facility-related systems.
• Perform equipment repairs and maintenance in accordance with established safety practices.
• Work around high-pressure and combustible gas systems while following applicable safety procedures.
• Perform maintenance activities in both indoor and outdoor environments when required.
• Communicate completed work, equipment conditions and maintenance issues to appropriate team members.
• Work independently on assigned maintenance activities while coordinating with the broader maintenance team.
• Adapt to changing production and maintenance requirements, including schedule adjustments when necessary.
• Apply practical knowledge of industrial equipment to minimize downtime and maintain reliable facility operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in aerospace or a closely related industrial/manufacturing environment .
• Strong hands-on mechanical maintenance and equipment repair experience.
• Demonstrated experience with pneumatic systems and pneumatic equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical devices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools in a maintenance environment.
• Ability to safely work around high-pressure and combustible gases.
• Ability to work independently and follow established safety and maintenance procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to document and explain maintenance work performed.
• Welding, brazing and/or soldering experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment where occasional schedule flexibility may be required.
• Ability to perform work indoors and outdoors throughout the year as required by the position.
