NoteWe are seeking an experienced commercial real estate attorney at the Counsel or Partner level who can independently lead sophisticated transactions involving owners and developers. Strong experience with commercial acquisitions, real estate financing, and joint ventures is essential. We welcome candidates with an existing book of business or the ability and ambition to develop one.

Job DescriptionLead commercial real estate acquisitions, financing transactions, and joint ventures from initial negotiations through closing.Represent property owners and developers in sophisticated real estate transactions.Draft, negotiate, and review complex purchase agreements, financing documents, joint venture agreements, and related contracts.Provide strategic legal advice on transaction structures, risks, and business objectives.Manage transactions independently while collaborating with associates, partners, and support staff.Develop and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for practice growth.Contribute to a collaborative real estate team and help guide junior attorneys when appropriate.
Qualifications8+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience, with substantial senior-level responsibilities.Strong background representing commercial property owners and developers.Proven experience with commercial acquisitions, real estate financing, and joint ventures.Ability to independently manage complex transactions and client relationships.New York Bar admission or eligibility for admission.Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.An existing book of business or demonstrated business development potential is preferred.
