Are you an accounting professional who enjoys solving complex financial challenges, improving processes, and making a measurable impact? We're seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong general accounting, payroll, accounts receivable, and billing experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll DoPrepare and analyze financial statements, accounting records, and management reports.Perform account reconciliations and prepare adjusting journal entries.Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.Prepare and assist with payroll processing, payroll reconciliations, and payroll tax reporting.Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, billing, payment application, account reconciliations, collections follow-up, and resolution of outstanding balances.Generate accurate client invoices and ensure timely billing in accordance with contract terms.Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up with clients regarding outstanding invoices to improve cash flow.Process invoices and support Accounts Payable activities as needed.Analyze budgets, costs, and financial trends while identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3+ years of accounting experience required.Strong experience with general ledger accounting, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, billing, collections follow-up, payroll processing, and financial reporting.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; ERP/accounting software experience preferred.Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
