Position: High School Economics Teacher

Location: Faridabad, India

Objectives:

Deliver engaging and effective Economics lessons aligned with the curriculum. Inspire and motivate students to achieve academic excellence in Economics. Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of economic concepts. Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences. Lesson Planning: Develop well-organised lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to students' needs and abilities. Student Assessment: Assess and evaluate students' academic progress, provide constructive feedback, and report on student performance. Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a productive classroom environment conducive to learning. Instructional Strategies: Employ diverse teaching methods and strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Resource Management: Utilise appropriate learning resources, including textbooks, technology, and supplementary materials. Extracurricular Involvement: Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and support student clubs and societies related to Economics. Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional growth to stay updated with educational trends and advancements in Economics education. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the school community to support student learning and well-being. Advisory Role: Serve as a mentor and advisor to students, providing guidance on academic, career, and personal development matters.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or a related field. A teaching certification or diploma is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting. Personal Attributes: Passionate about teaching and mentoring students.
