Project Engineer (EIT) - Water/Wastewater <p> Department: Civil/Municipal </p><p> Employment Type: Full Time </p><p> Location: Miami, FL </p><p> Reporting To: Kyle Bechtelheimer </p><p> Compensation: $70,000 - $99,000 / year </p> Description CPH is a multi-disciplined Engineering and Architectural design firm that ranks in the nations Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine. <p></p> CPH has an opening in our Miami, Florida office location for the following position: <ul><li> Project Engineer (EIT)/Associate Project Engineer </li></ul> Duties Include: <ul><li> Preparation of design plans, specifications, and reports for a variety of water/wastewater and stormwater projects which may include transmission, distribution, collection, treatment, storage, utility master planning, permitting and various engineering tasks. </li><li> Hydraulic modeling including stormwater pre/post and advanced treatment and storage design along with water and sewer pumping systems and hydraulic water distribution modeling. </li><li> Ability to successfully interact with various public and private clients and other jurisdictional agencies. </li><li> Review of design plans and assist registered engineer on plan modifications. Coordinate with drafting personnel to ensure changes are incorporated into the design plans. Ability to review industry and municipal standards to ensure design compliance. </li><li> Preparing engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids. </li><li> Working on a wide range of projects and tasks and assist with field research, data collection, data analysis, graphics, maps and data presentation, and report development. </li><li> Management of time and workload to stay on schedule and within budget. </li><li> Limited travel to assist with site investigations, construction observation and project transmittals. </li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li> Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. </li><li> E.I Certificate preferred or eligible and scheduled for FE exam. </li><li> Detail-oriented individual with strong technical and organizational skills. </li><li> Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing and standard office software. </li><li> Works well in multidisciplinary team environments and ability to meet deadlines. </li><li> Strong oral presentation and written communication skills. </li><li> Experience with WaterCAD, ICPR and other modeling software is preferred. </li><li> Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record. </li></ul> Compensation &amp; Benefits <ul><li> Dependent upon experience. </li><li> CPH offers Medical, Dental and Vision and Long-Term Disability with a quality insurance company. </li><li> Company Paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability. </li><li>401K, Paid Personal Time Off, Paid Holidays, and Paid Paternal Leave. </li></ul> CPH is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Drug Free Work Environment Employer.
