Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant to join a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA transformation project in Germany .

The consultant will be responsible for end-to-end data migration activities including data analysis, extraction, mapping, cleansing, transformation, loading, validation, reconciliation, cutover, and post-go-live support.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with SAP Data Migration Cockpit, LTMC, LTMOM, Migration Object Templates (MOTs), Staging Table, Direct Transfer and File Transfer methods , along with legacy extraction technologies such as BDC, BAPI, LSMW, IDoc and ALE .

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze legacy system data and define migration requirements.
• Perform source data analysis, profiling, cleansing and validation.
• Prepare data mapping, transformation and migration strategy documents.
• Design and execute end-to-end migration activities from legacy/SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
• Develop, configure and enhance migration objects using SAP Migration Cockpit / LTMC / LTMOM .
• Work with Migration Object Templates (MOTs) and migration templates.
• Execute migration using Staging Table, Direct Transfer and File Transfer approaches.
• Perform data extraction and transformation using appropriate legacy extraction frameworks.
• Work with BDC, BAPI, LSMW, IDoc/ALE and other integration mechanisms where required.
• Handle migration of both master data and transactional data .
• Plan and execute mock migration cycles, reconciliation and data validation.
• Support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live and post-go-live/hypercare activities .
• Identify and resolve migration errors and data quality issues.
• Coordinate with functional, technical and business teams to ensure migration readiness.
• Work closely with FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, PM and QM teams for cross-functional data dependencies.
• Prepare migration status reports, issue trackers and reconciliation reports.
• Support cutover planning and execution during the production migration.

Mandatory Skills:

• 5+ years of SAP Data Migration experience .
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Cockpit .
• Mandatory experience with LTMC and LTMOM .
• Experience in at least one full-cycle Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation .
• Strong experience in migration of both Master Data and Transactional Data .
• Hands-on knowledge of:

• Experience with legacy extraction and integration technologies:

• Strong data mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation and reconciliation experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of English .

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP Activate methodology .
• SAP Data Migration or S/4HANA certification.
• Experience with Syniti, SAP BODS or other ETL/data migration tools.
• Experience working with international/global SAP implementation teams.
• Exposure to complex data migration and cutover programs.

Functional Areas:

Experience working with one or more of the following SAP modules is preferred:
