Role: BIM Modeler - Mechanical/Electrical
Job Summary
Produces assigned model elements and drawing sheets under supervision, working to defined standards and templates. Output is reviewed by a Senior BIM Modeller before release. The role is a training track: the expectation is measurable progression toward independent ownership of a system or zone.
Key Responsibilities
Create and update 3 D models per issued design/construction drawings.
Follow modelling standards, templates, and naming conventions set by the BIM Lead.
Flag design or coordination issues discovered during modelling.
Support preparation of drawings, schedules, and basic BOQs.
Participate in internal training to build modelling proficiency.
Required Qualifications & Experience
1–3 years of experience. Fresh graduates with formal Revit MEP training will be considered.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical
Working Revit (MEP) capability — must demonstrate modelling a basic system live at interview, not certificates alone.
Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, legends and schedules.
Extensive knowledge of Auto CAD.
Preferred (Training Provided)
Navisworks; BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Awareness of SMACNA, ASHRAE and NFPA basics.
