MIS Systems Specialist, Active Directory/Identity Engineer

Overview <p> Assists the Systems Specialist Sr MIS in the coordination of activities and resources for the maintenance of hospital databases, web application development and the intranet.Responsibilities </p><p>1. Provide technical support for the hospital’s database environments to ensure performance, availability, and security. </p><p> 2. Responsible for general management of the development and production web servers. </p><p>3. Maintain an issues work list and conduct regular and thorough follow-up with interested parties. </p><p>4. Provide primary support and maintenance for core systems as determined by the Senior Systems Specialist. </p><p>5. Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Immediately reports and mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to the director. </p> Qualifications <p> KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED </p><ol><li> B.S. degree in Business, Computer Science or related field or Five (5) years information systems experience </li><li> Two (2) years database administration or web application development experience </li><li> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li></ol><p> KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED </p><ol><li> Five (5) plus years information systems experience </li><li> DBA/webmaster certification </li><li> Experience in project management </li></ol> Work Hours: <p></p>8:30AM - 5:00PM
