Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Commercial Insurance Agent role based in Murfreesboro, TN. Therefore, the agent must live and be able to commute within middle Tennessee. The Commercial Insurance Agent will meet with business clients to assess risk, recommend appropriate commercial coverage, and present tailored insurance solutions. Daily tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, preparing quotes, processing applications, and managing policy renewals and endorsements. The role involves maintaining detailed records, following up with clients, and coordinating with carriers to resolve coverage, billing, and claims-related questions. The Commercial Insurance Agent is expected to provide excellent customer service, meet sales targets, and actively contribute to the growth of the agency’s commercial portfolio.
Qualifications for the Ideal Candidate:Candidates should possess possess skills in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance, with a strong understanding of commercial lines and policy structures.Candidates should possess skills in Customer Service, with a focus on building client relationships and delivering responsive, professional support.Candidates should possess skills in Casualty Insurance, including knowledge of liability coverages and risk assessment for business clients.Candidates should possess skills in Sales, including lead generation, consultative selling, negotiation, and closing.Active property and casualty insurance license (or eligibility to obtain within a defined timeframe).Prior experience in commercial insurance or related financial services is preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.Comfort with using agency management systems, CRM tools, and standard office software.High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to client-centered service. xzbcwsv
We offer competitive pay based on experience, and we prefer (but do not require) candidates to be licensed in Tennessee for Property & Casualty Insurance.
