Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a Commodity Sourcing II for a Contract job with a client in Buffalo Grove, IL. Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the manufacturing domain.

Rate Range: $32/hour to $37/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Project Manager job responsibilities include:Looking for someone with manufacturing experienceNeed someone with sourcing experience in the manufacturing field, rather than distribution or commercial.Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 4+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.Knowledge of MRP systems (Oracle preferred).
Desired Qualifications:Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.Selects products for purchase by testing, observing, or examining items. Selects suppliers with Supply Chain Manager based on criteria such as quality certification, capacity analysis, financial analysis, etcEstimates values according to knowledge of market price.Determines method of procurement such as direct purchase or bid.Prepares purchase orders or bid requests.
