Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring accurate and timely bookkeeping. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing invoices, monitoring accounts receivable and payable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with monthly and annual closing activities. The role also involves supporting tax and regulatory compliance, preparing basic financial reports for management, and coordinating with external auditors or consultants as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, requiring close collaboration with the management and operations teams to maintain robust financial controls and support business decision-making. Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting. Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including use of spreadsheets, formulas, and financial templates. Candidates should possess knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other relevant tax and regulatory requirements. Candidates should possess strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data. Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners. Relevant academic background such as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or pursuing) are an advantage. Prior experience as an accountant or in a similar finance role, ideally within retail, design, manufacturing, or small to mid-sized businesses, is preferred. Ability to operate with integrity, maintain confidentiality, and manage time effectively in an on-site, full-time environment in Jaipur.
