Senior Superintendent

Wharton-Smith, Inc is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Superintendent with Water/Wastewater background for the Brevard & Indian River County, FL area. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the direction and daily supervision of all job site field personnel on assigned projects. Responsibilities also include maintaining safety, owner satisfaction, cost, schedule, and quality control.Compensation$135,200+ annually, depending on experience and qualifications.This position is also eligible for performance-based bonuses twice a year and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and company vehicle.Responsibilities:Maintain qualityProject safety managementShort-term schedulingManpower and equipment resource requirement schedulingCoordination of permit and regulatory inspectionsProject set-up and temporary facilitiesField documents controlDaily reportsProgress photographsMaterial handling (receiving & inventory, storage, spare parts)LayoutSubcontract coordinationJobsite hiring, when requiredIn-place quantity reportingAs-Built DrawingsParticipate in post-construction reviewField purchasesMaterial delivery coordinationClient and RPR relationsTime sheetsSmall tool managementKnowledge of contract documentsJobsite securityRequired Qualifications:Superintendent Level10-15 years of total construction experience.Minimum of the most recent 5+ years as a Superintendent (required).Candidates must currently be working in water/wastewater.
