Perrigo Nutritionals, located in Eau Claire, WI is currently looking for highly motivated Production Operators who will work the 2-2-3 schedule - 6:00 PM to <h2>6:10 AM</h2> This is a full-time, non-exempt, unionized position with a starting pay rate of $27.00 per hour + a $2.00 shift premium. A comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including but not limited to Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K Matching, Quarterly Bonus, Life / AD&amp;D Insurance, Short &amp; Longterm Disability, PTO accrual starting after 90-day probation, and more is also provided by Perrigo. $2,500 sign on bonus &amp; base pay increase offered after 90 day probation! <h2>SCOPE OF THE ROLE</h2> At Perrigo, basic duties and responsibilities for a Production Operator can include operating various pieces of production equipment; monitoring production processes and line operations. <b>Key Responsibilities:</b> * Follow the plant safety rules (LOTO procedures, PPE, etc.) report incidents &amp; unsafe conditions immediately. <ul><li>Follow factory safety &amp; environmental objectives &amp; targets.</li><li>Follow factory food safety, quality objectives &amp; targets.</li><li>Follow Perrigo Good Manufacturing Practices; report food safety and quality</li></ul> issues immediately. * Maintain compliance with regulations and refer to Perrigo Quality Management System on all related procedures and programs. * Understand the food safety and quality aspects of the position as indicated in the Quality Management System, on-the-job training, and standard operating procedures that apply. * Understand and apply the principles of continuous improvement in the work area. <h2>EXPERIENCE REQUIRED</h2> Physical Requirements <ul><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Ability to bend, twist, and stand for long period of time</li></ul> Required Experience * 1+ year of previous experience in manufacturing strongly preferred, or equivalent combination of training / education * High school diploma / GED level of education completed Experience (Preferred) * 2-3 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (Food, Bev, Pharma, CPG, etc.) preferred <ul><li>Great attention to detail &amp; ability to multi-task</li><li>Computer skills acquired through work experience</li><li>Willingness to work off shifts (there are no first shift positions available)</li></ul> and overtime as needed <ul><li>Improvement mindset and problem solving/critical thinking abilities</li><li>Reliable attendance</li><li>Good oral and written communication skills</li><li>Forklift experience</li></ul> Benefits We believe our people are our greatest asset.
