Job Title: Backend Developer — Startup (Matrimonial App)
Location: (Your City) / Remote
Type: Contract (3 months, extendable to full time)
Salary: 1,00,000-2,00,000 per month
About Us
We are building India's first fully verified matrimonial platform where every profile is manually verified by our team before going live. We are a early stage startup solving the biggest problem in online matrimony — fake and misleading profiles.
What You Will Build
User registration, login and profile management system
Document and photo upload system with secure cloud storage
Admin panel for our internal verification team
Search and filter APIs based on age, location, community
Real time messaging system between matched profiles
Payment and subscription integration using Razorpay
Notification system for profile updates and matches
What We Are Looking For
2+ years experience in backend development
Strong knowledge of Node.js or Python (Django/Fast API)
Experience with Postgre SQL or My SQL databases
Experience with AWS S3 or any cloud storage
Has built and deployed at least one live product
Can work independently and communicate proactively
Startup mindset — problem solver, not excuse maker
Good to Have
Experience with REST API development
Knowledge of data security and encryption
Experience with Razorpay or any payment gateway
