Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Dehradun, responsible for overseeing all financial operations of Heritage Aviation Pvt Ltd. The role includes directing financial planning and budgeting, managing cash flow, and ensuring accurate, timely preparation of financial statements and reports. The CFO will design and implement financial controls, monitor compliance with regulatory and aviation industry requirements, and guide risk management activities. Day-to-day responsibilities involve analyzing financial performance, advising the leadership team on strategic investments and cost optimization, and supporting long-term business planning and capital-raising initiatives. The CFO will lead and develop the finance team, collaborate closely with operations and commercial departments, and provide clear insights to support sustainable growth and profitability.

Qualifications and Experience

• We are looking at a minimum 20 years experience in Finance domain out of which at least 5-10 years as CFO in a medium to large organisation
• Preference will be given to a qualified Chartered Accountant
• Strong foundation in Finance and Financial Planning, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
• Demonstrated capability in Financial Reporting, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder communication.
• Advanced Analytical Skills for evaluating business performance, risk, and investment decisions.
• Significant leadership experience in finance, ideally within aviation, transportation, or capital-intensive industries.
• Proven ability to build and mentor high-performing finance teams and work collaboratively with executive leadership.
• Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and proficiency with modern financial systems and ERP tools.
