Odoo Functional Consultant (Accounting)

We're hiring an Odoo Functional Consultant with accounting experience to lead the finance side of our Odoo projects.

You'll configure Odoo Accounting — charts of accounts, taxes, journals, payment terms, bank reconciliation, multi-currency and multi-company — and make sure the setup satisfies the client's finance team and external accountants, including German localization and DATEV-related requirements on some projects.

Responsibilities

• Configure Odoo Accounting and Invoicing for new implementations
• Set up charts of accounts, fiscal positions, taxes and localization packages
• Configure bank feeds, reconciliation models and payment workflows
• Migrate opening balances and open items; reconcile results
• Build financial reports and support month-end and year-end processes
• Train finance teams and support them after go-live

Requirements

• 2+ years of Odoo functional experience with the Accounting app
• Accounting qualification or finance background (ACCA, CA, B.Com/M.Com or similar)
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, VAT/sales tax and financial reporting
• Clear communication in English with finance stakeholders
