Geographic Information Systems Lead

Key Requirements - Experience: 10 years - Location: Pune - Work Model: Hybrid Role Overview The requirement is for a senior professional with a strong technical background combined with project-management capabilities. This is not intended to be a purely core Project Manager role. The candidate should have: - Prior experience in GIS development projects. - Experience as a Developer, Technical Lead, or similar technical role. - Strong technical understanding to validate development activities and vendor deliverables. - Telecom domain experience is preferred. - Exposure to Telecom OSS/BSS is an added advantage. Key Responsibilities - Providing technical oversight of the vendor's development activities. - Tracking daily project timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables. - Reviewing and validating technical documentation and artifacts. - Challenging vendor estimates and understanding the technical rationale behind timelines. - Validating whether reported activities are genuinely completed.
