Role Description The Fashion Consultant role at Singhania's is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Fashion Consultant will engage with customers on the showroom floor, understand their preferences and occasions, and recommend suitable sarees and ensembles that align with their style and budget. Daily responsibilities include presenting product options, explaining fabric details and weaving techniques, coordinating accessories, and ensuring a personalized and welcoming customer experience. The role involves maintaining product displays, staying updated on new collections and trends, and supporting sales targets through knowledgeable and ethical selling practices. The Fashion Consultant will collaborate closely with the sales and merchandising teams to provide feedback on customer preferences and help refine the overall in-store experience. Key Responsibilities Develop original garment and embroidery designs aligned with seasonal collections and brand aesthetics. Create detailed embroidery artworks, motifs, and placement layouts for handcrafted embroidery. Collaborate closely with embroidery artisans and production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs. Research fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and embroidery techniques to develop fresh concepts. Prepare technical sketches, design specifications, and sampling instructions. Oversee sample development and ensure timely completion with quality standards. Select suitable fabrics, trims, embellishments, and embroidery materials. Monitor design execution from concept to final production, ensuring consistency and attention to detail. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in fashion design with a strong focus on handcrafted embroidery. Sound knowledge of traditional and contemporary embroidery techniques such as Zardozi, Aari, Resham, Mirror Work, Beadwork, Sequins, and other hand embellishments. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW is preferred. Strong creativity, color sense, and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
