Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Veterinarian role based at Petamiko - Pet Care Center in Borivali. The Veterinarian will perform daily clinical duties such as conducting physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, recommending treatments, and providing preventive care including vaccinations and wellness checks. Responsibilities include performing minor procedures, monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate medical records, and advising pet parents on nutrition, behavior, and long-term health. The role also involves collaborating with support staff, ensuring a safe and hygienic clinical environment, and contributing to high standards of care aligned with Petamiko’s pet-centric values.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Relevant veterinary education and credentials, such as a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc) or equivalent, with valid registration to practice.
- Clinical skills in small animal medicine, including examination, diagnosis, treatment planning, and routine surgical or medical procedures.
- Knowledge of preventive care, vaccinations, parasite control, nutrition, and wellness programs for companion animals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain medical conditions, treatment options, and home care instructions clearly to pet parents.
- Ability to work effectively in a clinical team, manage time well, and maintain detailed and accurate medical records.
- Comfort with using digital tools or practice management systems for scheduling, documentation, and coordinating care.
- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for animal welfare and client education.
- Prior experience in a pet clinic, hospital, or animal care center is preferred; experience with urban companion animal practice is an added advantage.
