Head of information technology

The person will lead I information security & IT operations and Enterprise Applications teams. The person will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of security strategies, policies, and procedures, as well as ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and Support and Enterprise Applications like SAP Hanna, Microsoft products, etc.

Key Responsibilities (Detailed outline of the role holder)

Define and execute the organizations long-term IT vision and digital strategy. Lead IT planning, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, GDPR, SOC2). Oversee development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise applications (SAP Hanna, CRM, HRMS, etc.). Evaluate emerging technologies (AI/ML, Io T, cloud-native, cybersecurity tools). Ensure integration, scalability, and modernization of technology systems. Develop and implement comprehensive information security strategies, policies, and procedures. Oversee the management of security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, and antivirus software. Lead the incident response team in identifying, analyzing, and responding to security incidents. Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analysis. Manage IT operations, including network infrastructure, servers, and data centres. Collaborate with other departments to ensure security best practices are integrated into all business processes. Provide leadership and guidance to the information security and IT operations teams. Set KPIs and manage team performance. Foster a culture of innovation and accountability. Optimize costs through consolidation, cloud migration, automation, and vendor negotiations. Track financial performance and ROI of IT initiatives.

Proven experience in information security and IT operations management. Experience of defining IT Strategy and Preparing budgets for the IT Organization Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies. Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and antivirus software. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.

1). Overall 15-20 years of professional experience in the ITSM and IT Infra Operations

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
