About the Role

As a part of the Business Development team, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, establishing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth in the rapidly evolving solar energy sector. The role shall report to the Head of Business Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships with customers
• Travelling to customer sites
• Foster strong relationships with industry influencers, trade associations, and regulatory bodies
• Conduct site assessments to evaluate project feasibility.
• Design solar PV systems tailored to client needs.
• Prepare cost estimates and financial models for proposals.
• Present technical solutions to potential clients and address inquiries.
• Market Analysis and Strategy Development

Requirements

• Preferably Engineering graduate with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Sales/BD
• At least 3 years of Sales / BD and 2 years in the Solar Energy sector
• Technical Knowledge of solar rooftop/ ground mounted design and implementation
• Language proficiency – English, Hindi and strong preference for Marathi as the market in focus shall be Maharashtra
• High proficiency in MS Office tools not limited to PowerPoint, MS Excel. Experience in online Client presentations / Webinars shall be a strong advantage
• Digital marketing skills, knowledge of online marketing tools, SEO, creatives, Google adwords would be preferred
• Strong understanding of solar PV systems, design tools, and costing.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to conduct on-site surveys and prepare detailed reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in online Client presentations / Webinars
• Digital marketing skills, knowledge of online marketing tools, SEO, creatives, Google adwords
