We're Hiring: Senior Manufacturing Engineer

AirBuddy Aerospace is growing its manufacturing team! We are looking for an experienced Senior Manufacturing & Fabrication Engineer / Senior Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer / Senior Fabrication Engineer who can set up manufacturing processes from prototype to production.

Experience Required:

️ 5-10+ years in manufacturing, fabrication, and production engineering

️ Experience in setting up manufacturing processes from prototype to production

Core Responsibilities:

Plan and execute manufacturing processes

Develop fabrication methods for mechanical components

Select suitable manufacturing processes based on design requirements

Handle CNC machining, turning, milling, and fabrication activities

Coordinate with machine shops and fabrication vendors

Develop SOPs and work instructions

Supervise fabrication and assembly operations

Optimize production time and manufacturing costs

Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing issues

Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards

Manage production planning and scheduling

Inspect fabricated components before assembly

Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement

Lead shop-floor teams and technicians

Ensure workplace safety and compliance

Must-Have Requirement:

Candidates must have hands-on experience in prototype fabrication, precision machining, vendor coordination, and assembly of mechanical components. They should be comfortable working on the shop floor and solving manufacturing challenges independently.
