Overview Registered Nurse – LTC (Long-Term Care) in Buffalo Center, Iowa. Travel assignment starting 08/24/2026 with guaranteed weekly hours. Shift is Days—3 x 11.5 hours (08:00–19:30). Setting: LTC - Nursing Home. Weekly pay range: $1,653 to $1,749. This temporary assignment is arranged through Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Key Highlights

- Travel assignment managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC
- Deliver direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting, including assessments, monitoring, and documentation.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, manage routine therapies and assist with basic skilled nursing tasks per orders.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (CNAs, therapists, social services) to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition, respond to alarms, and escalate concerns to the nurse in charge or physician as needed.
- Ensure accurate charting, documentation, and compliance with regulatory standards; uphold patient safety and infection control practices.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining residents’ dignity and privacy.
- Active Registered Nurse license (state-specific) and in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
- Ability to work the listed shift and adapt to a long-term care setting
