Job Description Serve as the #2 Superintendent on a 250-unit ground-up multifamily community. Assist in managing construction activities for a wood-frame project featuring a two-level garage beneath a podium transfer deck. Coordinate subcontractors and field operations to maintain schedule, quality, and safety objectives. Partner closely with senior field leadership, project management, and trade partners throughout all phases of construction. Monitor project progress and proactively resolve field challenges. Ensure adherence to company safety standards and quality control processes. Help drive successful project completion while maintaining strong relationships with ownership and stakeholders. The Successful Applicant Previous experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent on large-scale multifamily construction projects. Strong background in ground-up wood-frame multifamily developments. Experience supporting complex projects with structured parking, podium construction, or similar components preferred. Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and manage field operations effectively. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to safety, quality, and schedule performance. Local or relocatable to the Chapel Hill / Raleigh-Durham market preferred.
