Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Cerner is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

An interview may not be available prior to offer. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Night shift requires 2 years of solid MedSurg experience. Must read EKG strips and be comfortable working with telemetry patients.

Unit Details: No ventilators are used on the unit. A hospitalist or intensivist is in house. An IV and PICC team is available during the day. Respiratory therapy is available 24/7. Pharmacy is available 24/7.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holiday coverage follows the permanent staff holiday rotation.

Floating Requirements: Travelers will have a home-base unit; however, floating is required between both Med-Surg units. Travelers are first to float.

Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
