Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated, hands-on, and experienced Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Rockwell, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, leading manufacturing employees, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring production goals are met efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience supervising employees in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to improve productivity, reduce waste, and maintain a safe, organized, and productive workplace.DutiesDirect, coordinate, and manage daily manufacturing, production, and shipping operations.Supervise, coach, train, and develop production employees to maintain a productive and positive work environment.Ensure all employees follow company safety policies, procedures, and workplace regulations.Monitor production performance to ensure quality standards, efficiency goals, and customer requirements are consistently met.Identify opportunities to improve production processes, reduce waste, and minimize operating costs.Coordinate staffing, workflow, and daily production priorities to maintain efficient operations.Conduct safety training and reinforce safe working practices throughout the facility.Maintain accountability among employees while encouraging teamwork and continuous improvement.Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and provide constructive feedback when necessary.Collaborate with plant management and other departments to resolve production challenges.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment.Communicate production updates, operational concerns, and improvement opportunities to management.SkillsPrevious experience supervising employees in a manufacturing or production environment.Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.Knowledge of manufacturing operations, production processes, and quality standards.Experience improving production efficiency, reducing waste, and maintaining productivity goals.Understanding of workplace safety regulations and manufacturing safety procedures.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to troubleshoot production issues and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.Experience handling employee performance, conflict resolution, and team development.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.Ability to lead effective meetings, communicate expectations, and motivate production teams.Dependability, accountability, and a commitment to maintaining a positive work environment. xzbcwsv
The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors such as work location, job-related skills, qualifications, experience, responsibilities, and relevant education and training.
