Thread Roll OperatorShift: FirstPay: $24-26/hrPosition Overview:Sets up and operates Thread Roll machines to form Nails as specified by work order, blueprints, and/or drawing.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Set-up Thread Roll machines and auxiliary equipment (including wire drawers, grinders and turntables) per drawings.Maintains machinery by following instructions on Maintenance Logs.Receives and follows verbal and written instructions regarding duties to be performed.Maintains production schedules and output.Performs all other related job assignments and functions as assigned and/or required.Must be able to perform some set-ups of machines.Must be able to use measurement instruments.Load and unload machinesMachine adjustmentsMaterial handlingKnowledge of using standard hand and power toolsStrong ability to follow oral and written instructions properlySolid knowledge of installing and maintaining utility systemsKnowledge of precautions necessary for ensuring a safe work environment for self and coworkersPhysical agility aimed at performing manual laborDeep knowledge of basic preventative and general maintenance activitiesAbility to recognize hazards and take measures to avoid themAbility to develop and maintain effective working relationships

Skills/Qualifications:Position Qualifications-High school or equivalentExperience- 1-3+ yearsSkills- Reads blueprint, Performs inspection: Visual, Micrometer, Calipers, Comparator, Overlays, Gauge, Depth Pins.
Some prior experience working with thread roller & equipmentExperienced with hand tools.Able to operate semi-automatic machinesMust be able to verify work completed is per instructions given.Communication skills ability to read, write and comprehend instructionAbility to stand, stoop, bend, walk, reach frequently throughout the workdayAbility to lift items up to 40 lbs. without assistanceForklift operation
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
General shop and machine tool noise, dirt, grease, and oils from the operation of machine tools and assembly of machines and equipment. Normal working position is standing or walking through out the plant. Some repetitive lifting/moving is required, depending on the daily assignment or tasks being performed. The weight can range anywhere from 1 to 75 lbs in which proper lifting/moving techniques are required.

Mechanical / Manufacturing AptitudeHands-on experience with machine adjustments, preventative maintenance, material handling, and standard hand and power tools, with the ability to recognize equipment and workplace safety hazards.Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
