Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Capital Markets Associate to join their New York office. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience representing underwriters, issuers, and placement agents in IPOs, follow-on public offerings, private placements, and other securities offerings. Experience with '34 Act work is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates must be active members of the bar in their practicing state.

Duties

• Represent underwriters, issuers, and placement agents in various securities offerings.
• Engage in IPOs, follow-on public offerings, and private placements.
• Assist public companies with '34 Act work.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in capital markets.
• Active bar membership in the practicing state.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the practicing state.

Skills

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
