Thai Language Specialist

We are seeking a highly proficient Thai Language Specialist to facilitate seamless communication and localization between our Thai-speaking markets and our global teams. The ideal candidate possesses native-level fluency in Thai and excellent English skills, combined with strong cross-cultural awareness. Location – Mumbai & Pune Key Responsibilities Translation & Localization: Accurately translate business documents, marketing materials, software interfaces, and contracts from English to Thai and vice versa. Interpretation: Act as an interpreter during client meetings, internal discussions, and cross-border calls. Quality Assurance: Review and proofread localized content to ensure grammatical accuracy, natural flow, and cultural appropriateness. Market Support: Assist with customer support inquiries, sales initiatives, or project administration targeting the Thai market. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside product, marketing, and operations teams to align language assets with global branding strategies. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Language: Native or near-native fluency in Thai (reading, writing, and speaking) and professional working proficiency in English. Experience: (e.g., 2-4) years of experience in translation, interpretation, or localization. Cultural Competency: Strong understanding of Thai business etiquette, idioms, and cultural nuances. Soft Skills Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple translation requests and meet strict deadlines.
