Interior Designer

The company specializes in contemporary, minimalist, and highly functional modular kitchens and wardrobes, guiding clients from ideation through visualization to final installation.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop concepts that balance aesthetics, functionality, and luxury across residential, office, and commercial spaces. Daily responsibilities include conducting site visits, preparing design proposals, layouts, and mood boards, and coordinating 3D visualizations to communicate design intent. The role involves selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E, creating detailed drawings for execution, and working closely with vendors and contractors to ensure design quality and timely project delivery. The Interior Designer will also support project management activities, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold Metilli's design standards throughout each phase of the project.
Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design and Architecture skills, with experience creating cohesive design concepts and layouts for residential and commercial projects.
• Proficiency in Space Planning and Construction Drawings, including detailed floor plans, elevations, and execution-ready documentation.
• Demonstrated expertise in FF&E selection, including finishes, fixtures, furniture, lighting, and accessories aligned with luxury and functional design principles.
• Ability to prepare and interpret 3D visualization outputs; familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with relevant on-site experience in project execution.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present concepts, incorporate feedback, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and timelines while maintaining design quality and safety standards.
• Knowledge of materials, industry trends, and local vendors in Bengaluru; experience with end-to-end project delivery is an advantage.
