Lead Design Engineer

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Primary Design Engineer with 7+ years of expertise in substation design. The role involves designing and engineering primary systems for AIS/GIS substations across transmission and distribution voltage levels. The candidate will be responsible for delivering cost-effective, technically compliant, and high-quality engineering solutions while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Prepare primary engineering designs for AIS/GIS substations (11kV–765kV). Develop substation layouts, equipment layouts, switchyard layouts, and general arrangement drawings. Design busbar arrangements, conductor selection, equipment placement, and clearances in accordance with applicable standards. Prepare equ
