Language Specialist Marathi

Responsibilities

Translate and edit a variety of content, including user interface and long-form text.

Perform testing of the translated products to identify linguistic and functional issues.

Perform terminology and style guide updates.

Provide linguistic and cultural expertise in various localization projects.

Provide linguistic support and guidance to vendor translation teams

Skills

100% native fluency in Marathi respectively and near-native fluency in English.

Minimum 3 years of experience in translation from English to Marathi & vice versa .

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Familiarity with relevant culture and trends.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics, Communications or similar is desirable.

Experience in the social media and mobile space is a plus.

Familiarity with computer aided translation tools is desirable.
