A growing multi-entity organization is seeking a Senior Director of Payroll to lead payroll operations across North America. This individual will oversee payroll strategy, compliance, team leadership, process improvement, and payroll execution for a large, complex workforce.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead payroll operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions in the U.S. and Canada.Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing.Serve as the payroll compliance and tax subject matter expert.Establish and strengthen payroll controls, policies, and audit readiness.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing payroll team.Drive process improvements, standardization, and operational efficiencies.Partner with Finance, HR, and Operations leadership on payroll-related initiatives.Support acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic business projects.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.6+ years of payroll leadership experience, including leadership of complex, multi-entity payroll operations.Strong knowledge of payroll tax, compliance, and multi-jurisdiction payroll requirements.Experience managing payroll for diverse employee populations and compensation structures.Ability to manage confidential information with a high degree of discretion.Experience leading U.S. and Canadian payroll operations.Payroll certification (CPP, FPC, or equivalent). xzbcwsv Experience with payroll system implementations, process optimization, and M&A integrations.
