Manager (Supply Chain)

L ooking for an experienced and dynamic professional for theposition of Manager (Supply Chain) located at our head office in Clifton, Karachi.

Theincumbent will be responsible for effectively managing and optimizing supplychain operations to ensure uninterrupted availability of materials, efficientinventory levels, timely logistics, and cost-effective supply chain processesin support of the Company's manufacturing operations.

KeyResponsibilities

• Develop and implement effective supply chain strategiesaligned with business and manufacturing requirements.
• Lead supply and material planning to ensureuninterrupted availability of critical materials, spares, consumables, andother operational requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize stockholdingwhile ensuring continuity of operations.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Mechanical,Finance, Stores and other relevant functions.
• Monitor and improve supplier performance, deliveryschedules, service levels, and overall supply reliability.
• Identify supply chain risks and develop appropriatecontingency plans to minimize operational disruptions.
• Analyze demand, consumption patterns, inventory trends,lead times, and supply chain KPIs to identify opportunities forimprovement.
• Drive initiatives for cost optimization, inventoryreduction, process improvement, and enhanced supply chain efficiency.
• Oversee logistics and material movement to ensuretimely and cost-effective delivery.
• Establish and monitor appropriate supply chainperformance indicators and prepare periodic management reports.
• Ensure adherence to Company policies, procedures,controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team whilefostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualification& Experience

• MBA / equivalent qualification , preferably with specialization in Supply ChainManagement, Operations, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience , preferably gained in a manufacturing, industrial, orlarge-scale corporate environment.
• Strong hands-on experience in supply chain planning,inventory management, logistics, materials management, and suppliercoordination.
• Experience in the cement, construction materials, orprocess manufacturing industry and working on SAP will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, anddecision-making skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communicationskills.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive processimprovement initiatives.
• Age not more than 50 years

Prefered Industry Experience : Cement, Large Process Industry
