Quality Manager – Aerospace & Defense Supply Chain

Our client is a leading international organization operating within the Aerospace & Defense Supply Chain sector, supporting some of the world's most demanding manufacturing environments through quality-driven and highly regulated processes.

To support the growth of its North American business, we are seeking a Quality Manager based in Bethpage, New York .

Position Purpose:

Reporting both to the North America General Manager and the Global Head of Quality & Compliance, the Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of the local Quality Management System while serving as the primary point of contact for all customer quality-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with AS9100 Rev. D, AS9120 Rev. B and ISO 9001:2015 standards
• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Lead internal and external audits
• Manage customer quality requirements and corrective actions
• Monitor quality performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Promote a strong quality culture throughout the organization
• Collaborate with local and global stakeholders to maintain regulatory and procedural compliance

Background & Competencies

Must Have:

• Previous experience in Quality Management roles
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems
• Experience managing audits and compliance activities
• Leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Advanced English communication skills

Nice to Have:

• AS9100 and/or AS9120 experience
• Aerospace, Defense, Aviation, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry background
• Experience with SAP
• Continuous Improvement methodologies

Employment Conditions:

• Base salary: $80,000 - $100,000
