About the RoleWe are seeking a driven and detail-oriented transactional associate attorney to join our expanding legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of legal matters—with a particular focus on serving the legal needs of community associations. If you’re looking for meaningful work, client exposure, and long-term career growth in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you. This role would primarily be a transactional role with no court appearances or litigation required.
What You’ll Do:Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to:Community Association law mattersEmployment and labor law mattersDiscrimination and Reasonable Accommodation mattersLicense agreements (including rooftop/cell tower access with all of the large cell phone carriers such as Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.)Commercial real estate transactions and leasesInteract with clients, property managers, and board members in a responsive and professional mannerOccasionally attend Board meetings and community meetings for community associations
Who You AreAdmitted to practice law in New York StateFamiliarity with community association law, labor & employment law, or discrimination law is a plus, but not requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and organizational abilitiesClient-focused with an ability to manage multiple matters simultaneouslyComfortable working independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
Compensation is commensurate with experience
