This is an interim Teaching and Learning Leader role in a primary school, working closely with the Headteacher to strengthen teaching and learning while making a real difference in the classroom.

The school is part of a supportive multi-academy trust. This is effectively an Assistant Headteacher role, and the title is flexible for the right candidate.

The role
- Teach an EYFS/KS1 class four days a week, with dedicated time for PPA and leadership - Support the Headteacher to develop teaching and learning across the school - Help the school prepare for an upcoming Ofsted inspection - Support pupils with complex SEND needs within a mixed class - Work closely with the nursery team to support continuity and development - Act as Deputy DSL and support colleagues to strengthen their practice
What you'll bring
- Experience at Assistant Headteacher or Key Stage Leader level - A strong track record of improving teaching and learning - Excellent EYFS/KS1 teaching experience and a willingness xrexnqw to stay hands-on in the classroom - Confidence supporting pupils with complex SEND needs - The ability to coach and support colleagues to develop their practice - DSL and Ofsted experience would be an advantage
