Role Description The Interior Designer (AutoCAD) role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Delhi Area. The individual will be responsible for developing interior design concepts, creating detailed AutoCAD drawings, and preparing layouts for residential and commercial spaces. Daily tasks include space planning, coordinating architecture and construction drawings, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and ensuring designs meet client requirements, budget, and timelines. The role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and suppliers, conducting site visits, and overseeing the implementation of design plans to maintain quality and design integrity. The Interior Designer will also prepare presentations, mood boards, and material specifications to support client approvals and project execution. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to create functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts. Experience with Architecture and Construction Drawings, including preparing detailed plans, elevations, and sections in AutoCAD. Knowledge of FF&E selection and specification, including materials, finishes, lighting, and furnishings. Advanced AutoCAD skills; familiarity with other design tools such as SketchUp, Revit, or 3D visualization software is an advantage. Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, building codes, and project documentation. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and project teams. Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines. Prior on-site project coordination experience in the Greater Delhi Area or similar markets is preferred.
