Shift:
CT Technologist, Full-Time Days
10,000 Sign on Bonus
This role performs clerical duties and provides basic patient care within the scope of practice and departmental standards. In addition, this position adheres to compliance plans and regulations of local, state, and federal agencies.
Work Hours/Shifts:
~ 10,000 Sign on Bonus
Performs high-quality CT examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines and monitors patients for adverse reactions.
Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care.
Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.
Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
Knowledge of CT procedures and scanners [Required]
Customer Service skills [Required]
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry [Required]
Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]
Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure that information is obtained and presented accurately [Required]
Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray machines and printers [Required]
Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals [Required]
Ability to learn and use Radiology software packages, scanners and workstations, and EMR [Required]
Ability to quickly learn and follow departmental policies and procedures [Required]
General computer skills and PACS [Preferred]
Bachelor's [Preferred]
Work Experience:
~1+ year of related work experience [Required]
