Job Description
RED is looking for an Infrastructure Automation Engineer for an initial 8-month contract opportunity with one of our global consulting clients.

Requirements:Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), including Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Python.Experience with VMware Aria Suite, Microsoft System Center Orchestrator (SCORCH), Azure DevOps, and GitHub automation pipelines.Expertise in VMware vSAN, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), and enterprise virtualization.Experience developing automated infrastructure provisioning, orchestration, and configuration management solutions.Ability to build reusable automation frameworks, self-service infrastructure solutions, and standardized deployment templates.Experience automating patch management, configuration compliance, monitoring, and infrastructure lifecycle management.Background supporting manufacturing, plant, or distributed enterprise infrastructure environments.
Candidates MUST already reside in or near Durham, NC and be available onsite 3–4 days per week. Relocation candidates will NOT be considered.
