Position OverviewWe are seeking a licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Account Manager to join our team. This is a full-time, in-office position in Asheboro, NC. The Account Manager will be responsible for servicing and retaining an assigned book of business, handling renewals and policy changes, assisting clients with coverage needs, and remarketing accounts when appropriate.
Compensation$50,000–$75,000 base salary, depending on experience, qualifications, and the size and complexity of the book of business the candidate is capable of managing, plus annual performance bonus opportunities.
ResponsibilitiesManage and service an assigned book of personal and/or commercial P&C accountsHandle renewals, endorsements, policy changes, billing questions, certificates, and other service requestsReview renewal pricing and remarket accounts with other carriers when appropriateQuote and rewrite business when better coverage or pricing is availableCommunicate with clients, carriers, and underwritersMaintain complete and accurate account documentationFollow agency procedures and documentation requirementsHelp retain existing clients and identify appropriate cross-selling opportunitiesQualificationsActive North Carolina Property & Casualty insurance license requiredMinimum 2 years of P&C insurance agency experience requiredPersonal lines, commercial lines, or mixed experience acceptedStrong customer-service and communication skillsGood organizational skills and attention to detailComfortable using agency management systems, carrier websites, and Microsoft OfficeApplied Epic experience is helpful but not requiredBenefitsBCBSNC Gold health insurance plan15 days Paid time off plus over 10 paid holidaysAnnual performance bonus opportunitiesStable, full-time professional office environmentWork LocationThis position is full-time and on-site in Asheboro, NC.
