We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to support the design, deployment, maintenance, and optimization of a large, multi-site enterprise network environment. This individual will work hands-on across Cisco and Fortinet technologies, supporting both on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have strong Cisco networking experience, hands-on Fortinet/FortiGate SD-WAN knowledge, and experience supporting network environments through organizational growth, acquisitions, or infrastructure integrations.
Responsibilities:Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco switching and wireless infrastructureSupport and administer FortiGate SD-WAN environmentsInstall and integrate switches, routers, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and related network technologiesSupport network environments across corporate offices, remote locations, and cloud platformsMonitor network performance, availability, security, and connectivityTroubleshoot network-related incidents and resolve issues for end users and remote administratorsSupport WAN connectivity and multiple WAN technologiesAssist with network integrations related to mergers and acquisitionsSupport hybrid environments across on-premises, Azure, and AWSConfigure and support Cisco ISE or other Network Access Control (NAC) solutionsAssist with cloud-based telecommunications solutionsPerform network upgrades, patches, security configurations, and system maintenanceDevelop and maintain network documentation, standards, policies, and proceduresResearch and recommend network infrastructure improvementsCross-train technical team members and share network best practices
Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in a Network Administrator, Network Engineer, or similar networking roleStrong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologiesExperience designing, implementing, or administering FortiGate SD-WANStrong knowledge of Cisco switching, routing, and wireless infrastructureExperience with routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, and MPLSExperience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premises environments, including Azure and/or AWSWorking knowledge of Cisco ISE or similar NAC solutions xzbcwsv Experience configuring and monitoring enterprise Wi-Fi networksStrong knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, WAN connectivity, and network securityStrong troubleshooting, organization, prioritization, and communication skillsBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting network infrastructure during mergers, acquisitions, or enterprise integrationsCisco or other relevant networking certificationsExperience with Windows and VMware environmentsExperience evaluating infrastructure requirements and recommending hardware, software, and network solutionsExperience training or supporting end users and technical team membersMilitary/veteran background is a plus
