Commercial HVAC contractor based in Montgomery County, MD, is seeking experienced parts and delivery driver.

Pay Rate $20-$27 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

· Valid DOT certification, CDL is not required

· Clean driving record

· Must be at least 21 years of age

· Ability to lift items that weigh up to of 50lbs

· Prior commercial truck driving experience is a plus

· Comfortable driving throughout the District, Maryland, Virginia and Baltimore area.

· Typical commercial construction work hours of 5 am to 1 pm

Responsibilities

· Operate an automatic box truck and/or stakebody in a safe and timely manner, including daily inspection of the vehicle

· Deliver materials to the field personal on job sites, which includes assistance with loading and unloading and ensuring delivery of material

· Pick up orders at suppliers

· Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor.

· Maintaining quality of extra fleet trucks.

· Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and regulations

· Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures

· Assist warehouse personnel with pulling, preparing and loading deliveries

· Ability to work overtime as needed (infrequently)

Responsible for maintaining proper cleanliness of vehicle. Interior and exterior of the vehicles must be maintained to provide a clean appearance. The interior of the vehicles must be cleaned on a regular basis.
