One of the world’s most respected and leading global Consumer Product companies, located in either Summit, NJ or Fort Washington, PA has an immediate need for an experienced Consumer Product Packaging Engineer:
Preferred Experience:Skin Care, Cosmetics, FDA / GMP experience preferredComponent Development: Bottles, Tubes, Caps, Closures, PumpsPackaging ValidationLine Trial experiencePackaging Specification development, review and implementationWorking closely with Packaging SuppliersManage Cost Improvement initiativesConduct and manage Packaging TestingInitiation and Review of Change Control documentation;Writing Technical JustificationsMust work closely as part of cross-functional teamExternal Manufacturing experience preferred.
Support and Coordinate Packaging Activities:Primary Packaging contact with all relevant internal parties and Suppliers and Contract Manufacturing SitesDevelop and provide necessary documentation for NDP such as Development Plan, Technical Review forum, APR statements, technical memos, etc…Serve as Packaging Representative on cross functional teams to plan and coordinate all package engineering related functions related to specification changesWork with R&D and Ops to develop any technical validation plans required to initiate specification updates.
5 – 7 years professional experience.BS Degree in Packaging Engineering (or equivalent) is preferred. xzbcwsv
