Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Platform Automation Developer to design, develop, and maintain software, integrations, orchestration services, and automation workflows for an enterprise private cloud platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong software development expertise in Python, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript, along with hands-on experience in REST API integrations, infrastructure automation, ServiceNow, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines. The candidate will collaborate closely with infrastructure architects and engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and production-ready automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain platform automation services using Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Build REST API integrations and orchestration services across enterprise infrastructure platforms.
• Develop event-driven integrations, message-based workflows, and API-based synchronization services.
• Integrate ServiceNow Service Catalog, APIs, and workflow automation with infrastructure platforms.
• Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Integrate Terraform and Ansible-based infrastructure automation into platform workflows.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Git/GitOps-based deployment workflows.
• Develop orchestration solutions for virtual machine (VM) and Kubernetes provisioning.
• Integrate CMDB, DCIM, inventory, and asset-management systems.
• Integrate monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace to support event processing and operational automation.
• Automate incident management, change management, and other operational workflows.
• Support infrastructure onboarding and Day-0 through Day-N platform operations.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to translate technical requirements and designs into maintainable, production-ready software.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant professional experience, with at least 12 years of U.S. experience as required for client screening and background-check eligibility.
• Strong software development experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Strong experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience building API-driven and event-driven integrations.
• Practical experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with ServiceNow APIs, Service Catalog, and workflow integrations.
• Experience with Git/GitOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience developing automation and orchestration solutions for infrastructure platforms.
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems integration and automated workflows.
• Ability to work collaboratively with infrastructure architects, developers, and engineering teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues.
• Experience automating VM and Kubernetes provisioning.
• Experience integrating CMDB, DCIM, inventory, and asset-management platforms.
• Experience developing inventory synchronization services.
• Experience integrating Dynatrace or comparable monitoring solutions.
• Experience automating incident, change, and operational management workflows.
• Experience with Day-0 through Day-N infrastructure automation.
• Experience supporting enterprise private cloud or large-scale infrastructure platforms.
