Junior Hedge Fund ops manager

Client Description Our client is a boutique alternative investment firm seeking a highly motivated Operations professional to partner directly with the CFO. This is a broad, hands-on position that will serve as the CFO's primary operational resource, supporting all aspects of middle- and back-office functions within a lean, collaborative environment. The role offers exposure across fund operations, fund accounting, financial reporting, trade support, service provider oversight, and operational infrastructure. The ideal candidate enjoys wearing multiple hats, taking ownership of processes, and working closely with senior leadership in a growing investment organization. Ideal Profile 2-10 years of experience in fund operations, within a hedge fund, alternative asset manager, or prime brokerage environment Experience working in a smaller investment management firm where responsibilities span both accounting and operations ideally Looking for someone with growth potential rather than a highly senior manager Equity Long/Short Compensation Base salary targeted up to $140,000 Target total compensation approximately $200,000-$250,000 Work Environment Full-time, in-office position 5 days a week in midtown Manhattan.
